This month in AOC we speak to the man at the centre of England's rise to number one in the world. Andy Flower doesn't seek the limelight. It's just three and a bit years since he and Andrew Strauss took over; "A hurtling journey," Flower tells us. This being his first interview in AOC, we hadn't been sure what to expect. What we got was something rather special. The Boss educates us all.

Then there's Tim Bresnan, England's rough diamond with an increasingly smooth sheen. The big lad walks us through the freakish start to his Test career - just don't call him a lucky charm, or a mascot, or a talisman, okay?

England's first challenge of the summer comes in the beguiling, slightly ramshackle form of our West Indian tourists. English drizzle, visa problems and IPL stints haven't exactly helped their preparations, but the mystique remains, along with the abiding hope that these island talents can come together again. We've put together a 14-page Windies special.

And then there's about a million other things to grab you in another bumper issue, clocking in at 116 pages: Steven Finn's diary, an interview with Mike Proctor, AOC's guide to comedy and cricket a beautiful retro kit shoot, another coaching masterclass, a drink with Alex Tudor... we could go on!
